Diop football career

His football career was filled with success. He represented his country Senegal as a midfielder. In total, he made 63 appearances which he garnered up 11 goals in total. In the 2002 world cup, he scored two more goals against Uruguay. Although they did not win the match, a draw of 3-3 was enough to qualify them for the quarter-finals.
