Submerged in The Zone: Ways to Create More Happiness

[post_slider]

We all hit rough spots sometimes along the ladder of life. You might be climbing or sailing along with a happy and contented heart, then something from the left-field gets you upset. It might be something you are anxious about or maybe receiving bad news. However, it would be best if you always remembered that happiness is still a choice. It might be hard to believe this, especially after hearing the same word from many people to the extent that you normalize it. It is true, even though our genetics and life circumstances might play a role in the level of our happiness, we have much control over it than you think.

Seneca once said;

“True happiness is to enjoy the present, without anxious dependence upon the future, not to amuse ourselves with either hopes or fears but to rest satisfied with what we have, which is sufficient, for he that is so wants nothing.”

You’ll bring more joy into your life if and only if you bring consciousness, frivolity, and embrace gratitude in your day-to-day life activities.

How can you focus on the moment without anxious dependence upon the future? Erase all that has never given you the desired level of satisfaction and embrace the tips below for maximum living. Feel happy reading that line?

 Get in the Zone of Happiness

Have you ever felt that time is not moving, and your concerns disappear? Do you know what brought the feeling? Believe it or not, it was the task at hand at that particular moment. You got involved to the extent that everything seems like nothing. This is known as being in the state of the flow. Being in the state boosts your happiness. It can only come from doing what you love from playing a musical instrument, reading that favorite book, writing that mind-blowing article to coding that application. You know where your happiness lies within the soul; grab it with your two hands.

Put Yourself First

This doesn’t mean that you should be self-centered. It means you should strive for balance in whatever you do. Life is all about balance. Taking too much of one thing spoil the joy and brings with it negative energy that leaves your head bowed down in regrets.

There will always exist something in that to-do list. Find it in your favor to add something just for you. Let everybody know that whatever it is, it is a priority and should never be canceled under any circumstances.

Consult Mother Nature for Deeper Serenity

Mother nature natures and restores. Nature reminds us of who we are and our position on earth while bringing a sense of the whole. Spending time in nature reduces our stress level and increases the feeling of compassion and gratitude.

Find something new every day

Our brains are wired differently, but I can tell you for sure that those little powerful neurons love new and novel things. Have you ever tried engaging with soothing new or novel? How did it feel? Have you ever asked yourself how you can keep the feeling going each day? If no, then no need to worry. This article is for you.

New things arouse our feelings and make us focus on the moment, which boosts our happiness. Learn to either view things as new or find something new each day. It isn’t easy to see something old as new every day, and that’s why it is only for people with powerful minds.

However, you don’t have to go bungee jumping off Tokyo skytree or Burj Khalifa to be happy. Start with something small. It can be watching that sunrise or sunset every day. You know what you view as new, go for it.

Reconnection of Joy

Marthe Troly-Curtin, Phrynette Married, once said;

“Time you enjoy wasting is not wasted time.”

Want to feel happy again? Give that which made you happy another chance. It can be playing football, writing a novel, coding, visiting the sick, being with your loved one, among many more. You find it and repeat it.

Abraham Lincoln once said;

“Folks are usually about as happy as they make their minds up to be.”

If I were you, I would make mine to be happier.
