Bill Gates Views On Learning Institutions And Global Economy Amid The Coronavirus Pandemic.

Bill Gates is a rich humanitarian who co-founds the Microsoft 4 decades ago. He gives his views on learning institutions and the economy in the United States.

Gates says that schools may open again despite the drop in the global economy. However, the United States economy will require more strategies to return where it was before the coronavirus attack.

In a discussion with Becky Quick, Bill gives his thoughts and says that this academic year for schools may not have a substantial turnout. Gates thinks out loud and says some learning institutions have enabled its students to learn online by use of good internet.

The biggest challenge in online learning is that some students lack the financial capabilities of owning a computer leave alone the internet. For the case of rich private schools, their administrators ensure the students have access to the internet and every one of them has a computer. This way, the students may not have any difficulties in learning through an online platform.

Because of this challenge, many school districts made up their minds not to have online teaching or learning. The reason for this decision is to promote equality and justness. This is especially for those with lesser capabilities of having a computer or the access of the internet to facilitate learning.

Ray Dalio and Jeff Bezos are trying to provide computers and internet to the students to solve the dilemma and mystery that is at hand.

On the side of the economic resurrection on countries, Gates’ suggestions are great. He says that countries in hard times should consider manufacturing and construction activities first and finally the education. He points to the economy states of China and South Korea and says that they are coming back to life.
