A boy dancing ballet in the rain makes the headlines as Fade Ogunro, a Nigerian benefactor, gives an all-inclusive scholarship to him. The young ballet dancer, Anthony Mmesoma Madu danced barefoot in the rain. When his video went viral, he was discovered by those who want to bless his life. His sponsor said she would bill the boy’s tuition up to the university level. The Nigerian philanthropist, Fade Ogunro, granted the young boy hope.

The footage that has over 14 million views on Twitter depicts the boy drawing beautiful ballet lines on the wet concrete, during the rain shower. According to the BBC, he is one of the 24 students at Leap of Dance Academy, a school of ballet established in 2017.

Weeks back, his Nigerian sponsor showed off the boy’s screenshots with another kid she agreed to support at college. Fade said the boy’s grin is incredible. She added that his smiles brought her much pleasure, and she hoped that they would both achieve the vision of their lives.

She shared another collage of the boy creating fine dance lines under the rain on Twitter recently. This boy was not from a poor background; he did not need help, as many commented on Twitter. All he was doing was what he loves best; to dance ballet in the rain, and this earned him attention and a full scholarship till the university level.

In a YouTube video, his mother explains that parents shouldn’t let their children’s talents die. Instead, if they can afford it, they should support their children to realize and achieve their dreams to the fullest.
