#1. Traveling Africa is dangerous

Well, there are different notions going around the world describing how Africa is insecure.  From threats from the Al-Shabab in Kenya, terror groups like the Boko Haram in Nigeria and even different civil wars like the Rwandan genocide have seemingly supported this idea. Well, what most people do not know is that these few countries do not form the continent.

Reports from the institute of economics and peace placed countries like Tanzania, Malawi, Ghana, Namibia, and Zambia to be harmless and quite safer than the united states. What you need to understand is that, just like any other continent, conflicts and terror attacks are bound to happen. But it is not the whole continent that is usually attacked. Quite frankly speaking, a big region of the continent is in fact secure.

#2. Africa is dirty and underdeveloped

For someone who is not well versed with the continent, it is easy for him to believe this statement. However, many countries are outgrowing this notion. The streets are clean with zero trash across the cities. Measures have been put in place to ensure the cities and different towns are free from the garbage. Development is greatly being experienced in all sectors of the continent.

Economically, a country like Botswana which was ranked among the poorest countries has an economic growth rate averaging at 9% per year. Ivory Coast is closely following with a GDP of 8.5%. The infrastructure is gradually improving. Politically, most countries are now civilized to practice democracy and promote human rights in the country. In fact, Rwanda is at the forefront of advocating for women’s empowerment. This translates to 64% of the people in the parliament being women. Hence saving the extra cash you needed to pay your guide. What is more exciting about this solo drive is that you get to spot the big five animals that are the lion which most people revere just having sight of him, the elephant, buffalo, rhinoceros, and the leopard?

The hotels are well equipped with comfy and spacious bedrooms. Food is also at your service, ready to be served. I must mention the different sumptuous African cuisines being offered. All at your service. These hotels while doing bookings, they always offer different packages which extend to full accommodation to foods.
