Network quality is important has the world evolves and more things are been built. Today, Ericsson’s new report shows that quality network performance has always been a demand around the world. Recently, there are more than ever available to deliver quality results to its customers. The network also delivers value to societies.
In times of crisis, these mobile networks have proven to deliver quality reliability and performance to support both enterprise and customers in their hour of need. However, network quality has been an important force of market dynamics for a long time. The demand for network capacity and quality is not a new development. In fact, a much greater extent of network quality would probably be expected.
Effect of investing in network
Some network providers have been analyzed in terms of growth and drive toward higher revenues. They have been an improvement in those firms while there are some having higher revenues than others. These firms are called frontrunners; these frontrunners often deploy varieties of strategies to allow profitable and sustainable growth. The main strategy for their success is that they seek opportunities to have a better return.
Recent reports based on the data derived from the life cycle of the 4G network from more than thirty countries showcases how much good network performance benefits Frontrunners. This report also suggested how investing in networks can bring in higher or lower revenues.
In certain countries, the report shows that a service provider with the best network has higher revenues compared with a service provider with the lowest network quality. When the analyses were viewed across all service providers, it was realized network quality correlated with increased average revenue per user. And the analyses were not only on network leaders but also on quality laggards.
Network quality is one of the biggest influences on churn, so simply investing in the quality of the network helps to keep subscribers comfortable.
“It is easy to convince customers. But the problem is that when they notice a poor network performance they leave.” says one executive at a service provider.
Benefit of network
In addition, the average revenue per user fluctuations seems to be driven primarily by macroeconomic factors. However, frontrunners display significant revenues returns by investing first in high performance. The frontrunner garnered 9.9 percent in average revenue per user compound annual growth rate with 4G. While the others garnered -0.8 percent compound annual growth rate. With the advent of the 5G network, providers have started charging premium prices averaging 15 percent.
With this, it is clear that network quality matters to consumers, and the main product of providers is their network. We can also see that network performance is a prominent marketing initiative from successful service providers. This has generated a strong market share gain and growth over many years. There was also an allocation of more than 50% of the advertising budget spent on network performance.
Customers convinced on how effective the network performance will mean more for the network providers. Enterprise users will also benefit from this for their business survival.
