Zinox Nigeria has disclosed a digital learning solution to enhance learning. It also aims to aid schools and other educational institutions maintain quality interaction between pupils and teachers. This digital solution allows teachers, and pupils without physical contact or assembling in a classroom. Zinox aims to deliver an adequate result for all stakeholders in the educational ecosystem on a virtual platform. This assists the learning gap created by the social distance policy.
The social distance policy was enforced by the government to reduce the spread of the coronavirus. The Head of Research and Development at Zinox, Onochie Eche-Chukwuma stated that the new development would prevent the coronavirus pandemic from stalling the education. This new development will also assist young ones to afford quality learning during the pandemic.
About the platform
“Through this enhanced learning platform, teachers, pupils, administrators, and even parents will participate immensely. They can also connect seamlessly without feeling the effect of the ban placed on schools,” he said.
“It is a revolutionary tool will bring to life our status, as a reputable company focused on future of a greater Nigeria. Already, there are interests from schools and other educational institutions who are also planning to use the platform efficiently,” Onochie added.
This new platform is expected to lift the spirit of pupils, teachers, and educators who are unable to continue with their academic activities. With this, courses and lesson notes are uploaded for easy reading. And assignments can be given to students to work on and also to be submitted through the platform.
Classes can be held at agreed times, but most conveniently between 9 am to 2 pm. After this, the pupils are expected to rely on the platform for additional learning material. The governor of Lagos State, Nigeria, Babajide Sanwo-Olu also reviewed television programs for learning. This is an effort to assist pupils in learning after the state government closed down all private and public schools.
“We have to ensure that we engage our students while they stay at home due to the COVID-19 pandemic,” the governor said.
