There is a lot of stigma surrounding people living with disabilities. Especially when it comes down to offering employment opportunities. Most employers view them as more of a liability than an asset in any organization. For this reason, the employability rate of people living with disabilities is at a drastically low rate. As many of these people would defend themselves, one body part does not render the whole body disable, especially in the current era where technology is slowly integrating into the economic world. Most people with disabilities, consequently, have made themselves familiar with this rate of technology.
Skills and techniques with people living with disability
Here is a fun fact. A blind person can listen to screen readers at a rate of 300 words per minute. A rate is higher than that which a normal human with full eyesight can take in looking at the same screen. Also, people living with disabilities account for loyal and very reliable employees. There lacks enough awareness in the world to help people realize the labor force available to people living with disabilities. This is what majorly contributed to Mike Hess forming the Blind Institute of technology.
His childhood places him at elementary school where his journey to being blind commenced. He made sure to use all the available resources to cater to his blindness. By the early thirties, his visual impairment fully set in. However, this did not stop him from realizing his dreams. 20 years later, he is running a tech company. Furthermore, he is a husband and a father to three. He has further ventured into martial art. Skiing and mountain climbing are his favorite hobbies.

The government can choose to invest in people living with disabilities. Either way, it is a win-win situation. With the government incorporating people living with disabilities, more funds are on board. First of all, the government gets to invest in other productive sectors. The money that is channeled to help people living with disabilities can serve other purposes.
In the event of creating job opportunities, more revenue is a big possibilty. This is true in that the income generated annually through employment has as a result increased. This further helps to reduce the level of discrimination towards disabled persons.
