Recently, President Magufuli of Tanzania cautioned the country’s health officials against bracing for the coronavirus vaccines. He raised this concern, especially as the vaccines were arriving from foreign countries. Magufuli raised the concern following claims of less has been done to develop vaccines for diseases like HIV.
“You should stand firm. Vaccinations are dangerous. Suppose the white man was able to come up with the vaccinations. In that case, he should have found a vaccination for Aids by now; he would have found a vaccination for tuberculosis by now, would have found vaccination for malaria by now, he would have found a vaccination for cancer by now,” he said.
He added that Tanzania’s health ministry should know that not every vaccination is meaningful to their nation. They should be careful not to be used as guinea pigs for doubtful vaccinations, resulting in serious health repercussions.
Magufuli says there’s No COVID-19.
Not much is out regarding Tanzania’s coronavirus situation. Not even the positive cases, and that courtesy of their head of state. Mr. Magufuli is convinced that there is not any coronavirus. He entirely disregards the thought. When the virus first became an outbreak, President Magufuli declared Tanzania COVID-19 free.
While countries were rushing about, enforcing stringent measures to contain the virus, Magufuli stayed calm and continued normalcy. He did not impose any curfew, lockdown, masking, or ban any activities. In fact, at that time, Tanzania became a concern for many countries. During a recent Presidential briefing, Magufuli declared that they had lived a whole year without the virus because their God is able and satan would always fail. He concluded that his country members should be careful not to fall victims to experiments.
He compared the current situation with a certain country, which was also quick to participate in a vaccination program. Those who made the vaccine alleged that it was to be against cervical cancer. Therefore, many girl children from the country accepted immunization. However, it later emerged that the vaccines made them infertile.
Madagascar`s COVID-19 Herb
As many African countries are battling to obtain coronavirus vaccines from abroad, Tanzania has opted to take a different route. It is among the first African countries to order Madagascar’s Covid herb. Meanwhile, countries like South Africa have drifted much of their attention to vaccines from the west. There President even condemned the western countries for hoarding excess vaccines.
The President of Madagascar, Andry Rajoelina, the product’s chief endorser, purely organic and sold in herbal fusion. Artemisia, which is the main component of herbal medicine, serves a long history in medicine. Scientists first discovered its active ingredient in China. And it was from then that it became a potent weapon in the fight against malaria. The substance has proven effectiveness in malaria treatment, though no clinical trials have tested its efficacy against COVID-19.
As President Magufuli chooses to ignore that coronavirus is real, countries like the United States have warned their citizens not to travel to Tanzania and the neighboring East African states for fear of contracting the virus.
