Chioma Ikokwu, often known as Chioma Goodhair, is a reality star appearing on Real Housewives of Lagos. She has shared her story about the time she spent in a violent relationship.

During the time that she was in an abusive relationship, she reportedly ended up in the hospital on two separate occasions. During an interview with Toke Makinwa for her podcast titled “Toke Moments,” Chioma detailed the circumstances that led to her being admitted to the hospital on two separate occasions when she was in a violent relationship.

Chioma stated that, after several episodes of assault, she would prevent her partner from entering her home by locking him out. Even though he would endure any weather and sometimes stay up to three days outside her apartment, he would repeatedly beg for pardon.

Even though she was a strong individual, she stated that she found herself returning to a violent relationship on several occasions. Chioma went on to describe her former spouse as narcissistic, which provided further insight into the nature of the abuse.

The following is what he had to say: “I’ve been in a relationship that was violent, just like my first partner.” He stayed outside of my house for three days, sleeping on the floor in the rain, sunshine, and everything else, and he was begging. I remember the first time he did it. He stayed outside of my house. He slept outside of my house.

As soon as the fourth day passed, it became clear that I was not a demon; I was like, “Come in to sleep in the corridor.” I am firm; they shower you with gifts and tell you everything. You know I am a strong person, but even I returned. I woke up in the middle of the night, and he was beside me on the bed. They begged me, and they came and showered me with gifts. After that, it occurred once again the second time.”
