The effects of wildfires include the release of poisonous gases in the atmosphere. Moreover, it causes displacements, stress, and anguish among people. The worst impact is the loss of human and animal lives. There are also ways of preventing wildfires such as reporting cases of fire, extinguish fire pits after use and avoid careless throwing of burning substances. The most effective prevention measure is through people practicing extreme caution.

Recently, there have been reports of wildfires in the West Coast states of the United States.

President Donald Trump puts the blames of the wildfires on poor forest control. He further said that California could avoid the disaster if it cleared up the forest well.

He said:

“You have got to clean your forests. There are many years of leaves and broken trees, and they are like, so flammable. I have been telling them this now for three years. However, they do not want to listen.”

The region has seen more than 20 fatalities from fires since mid-August. The United States is going through a tough time considering the coronavirus pandemic that has hit the country hard.
