Kenya is full of an array of activities as well as destinations that attract tourists from all over the world. The kind of fun tourists experience in Kenya is undiluted and extremely exciting. This article provides a highlight of what attracts most tourists to Kenya.

Wildlife safaris

Kenya is the home of wildlife safaris. You can truly have it all. In Kenya, you can enjoy day and night safari game drives in its rich game reserves and national parks.

Kenya boasts all the big five animals including black rhino. The big five is a term used to refer to African big animals. The big hunters consider these animals the most difficult ones to hunt on foot. They include; elephant, lion, cape buffalo, rhinoceros and leopard.

The Kenyan big five is one of the things that most attracts people on Kenya wildlife safari tours.
Other animals in Kenya include; hyenas, bat-eared fox, monkeys, common jackal, hippos, gazelle, giraffes among others. All these animals attract tourists because they are available in many varieties.

The great wildebeest migration

The great wildebeest migration is the most spectacular event that takes place in the Kenyan Mara reserve. Watching the wildebeest accompanied by zebra, gazelle and eland migrate towards greener pasture is breathtaking. Because of this, tourists from all over the world are attracted to Kenya just to watch this amazing event.

Between July and September, the great Mara welcomes wildebeests accompanied by zebras from Serengeti to Maasai Mara Game Reserve.

The crossing of the Mara River is considered the climax of the migration activity. Watching this makes tourists long for it every single year. Because the event will surely take you through a series of mixed emotions.

The wildebeest migration is one of the most natural amazing events in the world. Because of this, tourists across the world find no reason not to visit Kenya.

The great rift valley

The Great Rift Valley is the world’s longest valley which covers 5000kms. It cuts across East Africa, Malawi, Mozambique, and Ethiopia. But have you ever wondered why tourists visit the Great Rift Valley from Kenya? Because Africa’s Great Rift Valley reveals its amazing breathtaking beauty from Kenya.

The great rift valley of Kenya consists of flat arid plains, uninhabitable desert lands, freshwater lakes, steep escarpments, and fertile land. The parks within the region include Mount Longonot and Hells Gate National Parks. Mt. Longonot is considered good for hiking.

Because of these, most tourists come to Kenya to have experience of the beauty of the Great Rift Valley.
Rift valley attracts tourists to Kenya because it’s one of the seven wonders of the world. For this reason, many people desire to visit Kenya to see one of the greatest wonders of the world.

Kenya’s fascinating cultures

Kenya is a home of 47 tribes which have different unique lifestyles. Cultural tours make you have experiences with the Samburu, Maasai, Swahili, the Pokot, Turkana, and several other tribes.

You get a chance to watch and participate in the traditional ceremonies of the native tribes. It is an amazing experience that every tourist would wish to have.
