Ukraine evacuates 138 Sudanese civilians

According to Ukraine’s military intelligence, released on Tuesday, Ukraine has rescued 138 people who were caught in combat in Sudan. Among those evacuated were Ukrainian citizens and residents of Georgia and Peru.

According to the GUR military intelligence agency, 87 Ukrainian individuals, the majority of whom were aviation experts (pilots and technicians) and members of their families, were safely removed from the country and evacuated.

“Residents of Georgia and Peru have also been forced to flee their homes. There were 138 total people that were rescued. It was said on the Telegram app that there were 35 women and 12 children among them.

The evacuees had arrived in Egypt at this point and were getting aid from the organization through medical assistance, food, and water.
