Six Egyptians Coptic abducted in Libya

Recent reports has it that six Coptic from Egypt have been abducted and held for ransom in Libya.

6 Egyptian Copts who are Christians were abducted by criminal gangs last week said MP Mostafa Bakry in a tweet.

The abduction took place while they were traveling by road close to Sabratha. And a ransom of 30,000 dollars per hostage is being requested for their release.

A significant number of Egyptians live in Libya. This is due to the availability of so many jobs in the oil industry in Libya.
