Seven Fatalities in Petrol Tanker Blast on Warri-Sapele Road
Tragedy struck the Warri-Sapele expressway in the Ometan community of Okpe Local Government Area, Delta State, claiming the lives of seven individuals in a devastating petrol tanker explosion. Upon receiving the news, Governor Sheriff Oborevwori of Delta State, returning from a project inspection in the creeks, swiftly responded to the tragedy. Accompanied by dignitaries, including the Speaker of the State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Emomotimi Guwor, former Chairman of Okpe Local Government Council, and Hon. Isaiah Esiovwa, Governor Oborevwori, visited the accident site to offer condolences and support to the grieving community.
