Nigerian Jollof Is Better Than Ghanaian Jollof – Chef Hilda Baci

A well-known cook named Hilda Baci has shared her opinion on the topic of Ghanaian jollof versus Nigerian Jollof.

The flavor building that is included in the Nigerian form of jollof makes it, in Baci’s opinion, the superior version of the two.

The person who previously held the Guinness World Record disclosed this information while participating on the most recent episode of the 90s Baby Show.

According to Hilda, “Nigerian jollof is actually superior to Ghanaian jollof.”

“I’ve gone to Ghana, and I’ve sampled their jollof when I was there. I have competed in a jollof contest with a Ghanaian chef, and I have seen the recipes that he used to make the dish that was his greatest portrayal of Ghanaian jollof.

“But with Nigerian jollof, Nigerians don’t play about flavour.”

It is important to keep in mind that Hilda Baci won the Jollof Face-off Competition in 2021 by defeating Leslie Kumordzie of Ghana. She was awarded a reward of $5,000 for her accomplishment.
