  • Viome’s Test Kit is a comprehensive technology that shows you vital information that would help you build and improve your Microbial and general well-being. It is built in a way that it can give you the accurate and precise levels of the different types of microbes in your gut. This information is necessary because it guides you clearly on what microbes to increase or reduce. Viome is a company that consists of a group of scientists who aims to analyze your gut to understand what causes inflammation and many chronic diseases.
A Litle Background

A microbial is relating to or has the characteristics of a microorganism, especially a bacterium which may exist in its single-celled form or a colony of cells causing disease or fermentation. It became clear to Naveen Jain, the founder of Viome, that the epidemic of chronic illness was a problem worth tackling after his father was diagnosed with pancreas cancer. This event prompted him to assemble scientists so they can provide solutions to chronic diseases. Viome claims to be the only company to help you identify what is happening in your gut, where your microbiome is mostly located using a home test kit.

The human gastrointestinal (GI) microbiota is also known as gut flora or microbiota. It contains trillions of microorganisms with different species of known bacterias with genes that surpass the human gene. So, they are collectively referred to as the world of microorganisms that live in the digestive tracts of humans — thereby populating our intestines with bacterias, although they are essential for our health. Animals such as insects are also hosts to numerous microorganisms that reside in the gastrointestinal tract.

Prioritizing Your Health Using Viome Test Kit.

Certain kinds of bacterias in your intestine can encourage diseases. But the test-kit from Viome is a tool you can use at home to start your own data collection. Viome, as a company, uses a high-resolution technology called meta-transcription as a means of identifying all microorganisms living the human gut, such as bacterial viruses, fungi, yeast, etc. Also, the metabolism and proteins available in the blood to make recommendations on the personalization of food and supplements since the food you eat greatly affect the type of bacteria that lives inside you. Viome gives recommendations after data is collected to optimize microbial functions. However, it is important to note that the company does not sell supplements, but it has been medically proven that various dietary interventions for IBD (Inflammatory Bowel Disease) are determined by one’s GI tract (Gastrointestinal tract) microbiome profile, which when modified can improve the effectiveness of diet therapies. Viome had shown that a revolution was taking shape when it made it feasible to analyze the complex operations that go on in the gut and how it connects to the brain.

Conclusion

The food we consume has a role to play in optimizing our health, eating food rich in whole diverse diets such as fruits and vegetables. Fermented foods (plain, natural yogurt) and breastfeeding infants can all lead to the growth of diverse microbiota, which is beneficial to our health. There are different classes of food with different nutritional values, which may be healthy for one and could be inflammatory to another. So to optimize your health or avoid chronic diseases, you have to understand and know what food you ought not to consume. By doing this, you are a step closer to ensuring a healthy microbiome. Health is Wealth, and it is only those who have good health that can live in Luxury.
