In Nigeria, pre-wedding shoots have become a must-do for Nigerian to-be-couples who want to capture their love-trilling moments before their deal days. The shoot captures the love-chemistry, special feelings and emotions of couples before the actual wedding and kept as a record. Nigerian to-be-couples always scout around for exciting places to express these emotions and get them creatively captured by photographers. For nature-loving and adventurous to-be-couples looking for hot spots for their pre-wedding photo-shoot, Lekki Conservation Center should be a top consideration.

The 23-year-old conservation center is one of the best nature reserves in Nigeria. It covers an area of 78 hectares and gives a breath of fresh air and an escape from the forever buzzing city of Lagos. Generally regarded as an icon of nature conservation, Lekki Conservation Center represents the flagship project of Nigeria Conservation Foundation for the preservation of unique biodiversity, scenic, natural, scientific recreational values of the coastal environs of western Nigeria.

At Lekki Conservation Center, you should consider the following spots for your pre-wedding photo-shoot

The trail boardwalk

The trail boardwalk stretches a length of 2Km. It was constructed in 1992 is to enable tourists to view the abundant resources of the nature reserve which is encapsulated on a mangrove terrain. This path is the right spot for your photo shoot. The camera keeps rolling as both partners explore its side attractions such as the swamp outlook, bird hide, and rest stops.

The Tree House

The treehouse is a twenty-one meters-high tree platform where one can have a bird’s eye view of the picnic area, reserve, visitor’s center and children’s playground among the trees. It is well protected with ladder, mounted behind the tree to enable nature enthusiasts to reach to the top.  to-be-couple can take courageous steps up the treehouse for a shoot. This will be an adventurous one, though.

Giant Chess, Ludo, and Draft Playing Ground.

This will be a real fun ground for game lovers. The center has three giant boards constructed on the ground for these three different games. The chessboard, just like the Snake and ladder board as well as the Ludo board, is designed with 16 big pieces each. So, grab your partner and play a game of chess, ludo, and draft while the camera lens rolls on. But please, be a gentleman and allow your wife-to-be win.

The Canopy Walkway

The 401m canopy walkway was launched in 2015, and since then, it had been a major attraction at the Lekki Conservation Center. It provides an above the tree view of the wetlands, and it is 100% safe. Couples who are not timid can have fresh shoots up there but ensure you get to the balance part of the walkway before you pose for pictures.

Aside from the photo-shoot, couples can also have fun from viewing animals. Observing the 95-year-old-tortoise could be thrilling. The sight of animals like Monkeys, Peacock, Crocodiles, and Snakes could also be exciting. You might even be lucky to have the animals come out during your period of visit and even feed them.
