TotalEnergies has made an oil and gas discovery off the coast of Nigeria called Ntokon.
On Tuesday, French oil company TotalEnergies announced that it had found oil and gas in Nigeria’s OML 102 offshore oilfield.
Nicolas Terraz, president of exploration & production at TotalEnergies, remarked, “This new success in the area further demonstrates the potential of nearby exploration to create value within our low cost, low emission strategy.”
TotalEnergies Nigeria, which owns a 40% stake in OML 102, and the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC Ltd), which owns the remaining 60%, work together to run the field.
