According to a statement released by the International Monetary Fund (IMF), its executive board has given its approval for an extended credit facility to the Central African Republic in the amount of about $191 million for a period of 38 months.
Because of this judgment, an immediate payment of around $15 million may be made.
The Central African Republic, which is one of the poorest nations in the world, will be able to handle persistent challenges with its balance of payments, provide fundamental health and education services, and conduct reforms with the assistance of this agreement.
