A Message Of Hope To The People.

Evelyn started by defining what Easter means to her and why it carries a very significant meaning. She says she believes that in this season, people will pray a lot, especially due to the world crisis. She further admits how COVID-19 has affected her, especially during this Easter season. Due to the pandemic, most of her events were canceled. She, therefore, decided to start live sessions on her social media. She felt there is an urge to do so. Churches have been closed, and there is nowhere to go except stay home due to the lockdown. Most families are at home, and this is the best time to socialize via social media, she explained. She therefore started, she kicked off, and the response was so massive.

“In these trying times, where we are facing this pandemic. I would like to encourage someone out there and the world at large. That God has not forsaken us. Let us stop the spread of COVID-19. Let us adhere to the rules of the health officials. Sanitize your hands, wash your hands with soap and running water. Stay at home, stay safe. God bless you” was her message to the whole world.

Other musicians have kept up with this practice like Kanjii Mbugua, who also does worship sessions on Instagram. These streamline worship has helped people to conduct fellowships at home. With the sing sessions indeed, it has helped a lot of people and most of all spread hope.
